Food Taster

My dream job would be to travel the world, and eat various cuisines from all over. First off, I love to eat. Second, who doesn't love to travel? I've been to the Philippines, Korea, Japan, Italy, Greece, and all over the United States. I love going to the Philippines and Japan and eating street food- fast, tasty, and cheap! Greece has such a vibrant menu, everything is fresh and colorful! I could spend all day in the street markets!

Here in the United States, I love visiting New York! So much to see and so much to eat! I always feel like I don't have enough time. I like to take a bike ride through Central Park, work up an appetite and eat my way through New York. The Halal Guys is a must try! Also another of my faves is Joe's Shanghai for their soup dumplings.

    Who doesn't like to eat right. I also love to eat especially when its cheap because you don't have to feel doubtful about eating something delicious. One of my favorite places to eat is Japan just like you I love that there are so many small places that offer delicious but cheap foods that are also convenient at the same time.

    I've been to all the countries you have listed. I must say that Korea and Japan are my favorite for food and nightlife. However the best sushi and sashimi I have ever had was when I was a dive instructor in the Philippines. One of the fishing boat captains brought several fish to the local bar one evening. The cook at the bar prepared everything and we had a fantastic night. We later found out the cook had worked as a sushi chef in Japan for 8 years when he was younger.


    I'd recommend you travel as much as you can!

Happy Thanksgiving! 🍗 I am thankful for my health, my family, my friends and the abundant blessings I have in my life. I am especially thankful to have my health as well as a healthy family. I am in my pediatric rotation and I see all these children that are terminally ill, and I honestly don't know how these families handle this but they do, with such grace and strength.  As I mentioned last week, this is the season that I love to volunteer my time and give to the less fortunate. It is so humbling yet heartbreaking to see these families that merely have the clothes on their back, if that.  I am so blessed to have such a great life full of love and laughter, and friends and family.

Fortnite is the devil!

I'm not sure if any of you have heard of the game, "Fortnite", but it has taken the world by storm. All the kids are OBSESSED with this game, especially my son, and even his dad. They wake up early, play all day to night. They won't even get off to eat! My son was invited to "Fortnite" birthday parties where the kids were asked to bring a laptop or ipad so they could play Fortnite together. I thought that was insane! My issue is that my son, is so addicted to it and he only wants to play Fortnite. He watches videos when he can't play and his attitude is horrible. He doesn't listen, he talks back and he can't focus. I've heard many other parents are having the same issue. I'm so close to taking a hammer to the XBOX! But, I'm hoping I can use it to my advantage to get my son to listen and do things. Therefore, I have taken away XBOX privileges and depending on how my son acts while on grounding will determine if he gets his privil...
